Use a heavy soup pot or dutch oven for the soup.cube any less expensive cut of beef and remove visible fat and bone.saute beef in small amount of oil.Once meat is browned add 2 quarts of water and allow meat to simmer until tender approx 2 hours.Check the soup pot as mine boils over if I cover too tightly.add water until there is 3 quarters in the pot.add the beef base and stir.add noodles and cook per pkg instructions.
