6 tbsp Oil, Extra Virgin Olive, Pompeian
Chile powder to taste

1.5 cups diced bell pepper

Here is how you make Ross Homemade Chili:

Brown ground beef over medium heat on stovetop in covered pan. Set aside.Pour peas, carrots and corn into large bowl and thaw under warm water. Drain.Heat olive oil in large stock pot or Dutch oven over medium heat until shimmering. Add some pepper and garlic and stir, then add onions and bell peppers and stir. Cook, covered, until soft, approximately 5 minutes. Add peas, carrots and corn and stir to coat in oil. Cook, covered, until carrots begin to soften, roughly 10 minutes. Add all other ingredients to pot and lower heat to medium low. This should bring the dish to boil in about 10 minutes. Adjust heat to simmer and cook for about two hours, longer if you want. Taste once in a while to check level of spice and add more if you like your nose to run. Ladle into bowls and enjoy.
