Here is how you make Black Bean and Mushroom Soup:

Soak black beans overnight, or use the quick-soak method. Rinse after soaking. In 6-7 quart crock-pot, add black beans, chicken stock, diced carrots and celery, and bay leaves (I do not crumble, just add whole). Cook on low for about 4 hours. Add mushrooms.
