Here is how you make Quick Homemade Tomato Soup:

In large stock pot, Saute garlic in olive oil until lightly browned. Add chicken broth, stewed tomatoes, and hot sauce. Using an immersion blender, blend until desired smoothness. Cover and bring soup to a boil, and if desired, toss in a handfull of elbow maccaroni. Turn heat to low, and simmer 20 to 25 minutes, stirring often. This can also be made in a slow cooker. Just brown the garlic in a small sauce pan before mixing with the rest of the ingredients. Serve with cheese crackers, grilled cheese or nothing at all.Serving Size:?makes 8 1-cup servings
