On day 4 of a vicious flu/cold thing, I decided to fight back with a soup full of all the things I knew would help fight off the badness. Garlic & ginger have antiviral properties, the vegetables and lemon are chock full of vitamins, and the miso is the miracle healer. It's a great vegetarian/vegan alternative to chicken soup.

Here is how you make Sick Soup:

Warm the olive oil in a soup pot, and add the chopped onion & carrot, and saute a few minutes until the onion is translucent. Meanwhile dissolve the bouillon and miso in the boiling water.
