2 stalks celery

1 tsp minced garlic (if desired)

2 tsp oregano

2 bouillon cubes (chicken)
4 oz smoked cooked ham



How Do I Make Myra's Lentil Soup?

Here is how you make Myra's Lentil Soup:

Wash lentils and remove empty hulls. Drain and place in a 2 QT sauce pan. Add 2-1/2 Quarts of water. Chop carrots, celery and onion and add to sauce pan. Add minced garlice, ground ginger, basil, oregano, bouillon cubes and salt to pot. Cook on high and bring to a boil continue to cook on high for 30 minutes.
