Here is how you make Root Soup:

Slice and dice veggies, add to large soup pot. Pour chicken broth, and water over top, (should be just enough to cover veggies). Bring to a low boil. Add italian seasoning, bay leaves, pepper and butter, turn down to simmer for approximately 45 min to 1 hour. Until veggies tender.
