Here is how you make Terri's Tomato Soup:

Saute onion in oil for a few minutes. Add minced garlic and cook another minute or two. Add all remaining ingredients (except for the flour). Cook for one hour or until vegetables are very tender. Work soup through a food mill or puree with a stick blender. Reserve a little of the pureed soup. Cool and blend with the flour.
