1/2 C. Tomato puree
1 tbl. dried mint

Here is how you make Turkish Soup:

Brown ground beef and onions in olive oil in soup pot (add salt as desired)Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Simmer for 20 minutes.I use the canned beans (I use 1/2 can for the recipe or 1 can if I double the recipe - not sure how it measures out). I also simmer a little longer to reduce the liquid some.Makes about 8-1 cup servings.
