Here is how you make My Mom's Veggie Soup:

brown and drain ground beef. Put meat in large, deep pot with tomato juice. You can use a crock pot, it just takes longer. Add potatoes and carrots and bring to a boil. Cook for 30 minutes or until potatoes are done to your liking. Add frozen vegetables. Cook another 5 minutes.
