What Are The Ingredients For Taquitos Recipe?

The ingredients for Taquitos are:

1 pound ground turkey
1/2 cup chopped onions
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup salsa
1 tsp salt
1 dash pepper
1 tbsp chili powder
8 tortillas
1 cup shredded cheddar
3 tbsp olive oil (divided)


How Do I Make Taquitos?

Here is how you make Taquitos:

Use 1 tbsp of your olive oil to saute the onions and garlic until soft. Then add your ground turkey and brown until meat it thoroughly cooked, drain any fat. Next add the salsa, salt, pepper and chili powder and let that simmer together for 10 minutes. Heat your tortillas in the microwave for 15 seconds, cover them with a wet paper towel so they remain moist. When the meat mixture is ready, scoop 1/4 cup of mixture onto torilla and spread with a spatula to the outside edges. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar, a little goes along way, and roll up tortilla and place on a cookie sheet, seam side down. Repeat until the mixture is gone, then brush the torillas with the rest of you oil. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. These can be dipped in sour cream or salsa, or they are great by themselves.
