This is a healthier take on one of my favorite appetizers. Those were made on crescent rolls. Eat a couple of these as a snack or for lunch with some leftover chicken. To save time, prepare cheese spread and veggies ahead of time and just assemble as needed.

The ingredients for Veggie Bites are:

8 sandwich thins
8 oz fat free cream cheese, softened
1 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp seasoned salt
1 cup broccoli, chopped small
1/2 cups carrots, chopped small
1/2 cup celery, chooped small
1/4 cup scallions, chopped small
1/2 cup reduced fat cheddar cheese, shredded
1 tsp Mrs. Dash seasoning


How Do I Make Veggie Bites?

Here is how you make Veggie Bites:

Separate sandwich thins so you have 16 piece. Set aside. MIx cream cheese, garlic powder and seasoned salt in small bowl. Spread an even amount on each sandwich thin half. Mix together chopped veggies and later on top of cream cheese. Sprinkle cheese over veggies and finish off with Mrs. Dash seasoning.
