Bell Pepper cut in strips, 3/4 cup
Onion cut in broad strips, 3/4 cup
Satsuma (2) or orange (1)
Herbal Tea, Stash Premium Lemon Ginger (1 bag) OR
Lemon and 1/2 tsp ground ginger
Dried red chili peppers or flakes (to taste)
Cooking Oil - 1 tbsp (can use sesame oil if available)
Soy sauce - 1 tsp
Rice - 1 1/2 cups
salt - (optional, to taste)
black pepper - (to taste)

Here is how you make Low Fat Asian Orange Chicken:

Prep: Boil some water in a kettle as to prepare a tea bag.In a separate pot or rice cooker, start steaming the rice.Cut thawed chicken breast on angle to bite sized slices.Salt and pepper chicken to taste.Cut bell pepper and onions to narrow strips.Cut garlic in slices or use minced garlic equivalent of 2 cloves.Juice the satsumas or oranges to produce 1/2 cup of juice in a measuring cup.Add soy sauce to juice.Cooking: After kettle comes to nearly a boil, steep a cup of herbal tea for about 3-4 minutes. Add 1/4 cup to the juice/soy mixture.Heat a non-stick wok, or heavy non-stick large pan on high heat. (If pan is NOT non-stick, add cooking oil or sesame oil lightly to coat bottom of pan)Add chicken to hot pan and flash stir fry till no longer raw on outside.Add chopped peppers, onions and garlic and red pepper flakes. Continue to stir fry until onions start to turn glassy. Add the juice/soy/tea mixture to the pan and continue to cook until sauce reduces to about half the volume (about 2 minutes). Push solids to the sides of pan or wok and add 1 tsp of corn starch to liquids to thicken the sauce. Combine all the ingredients with sauce and remove from heat.Serve over 3/4 cup steamed rice. Makes 2 - 1 cup servings.Optional: add mushrooms or broccoli spears if desired.
