2 pounds of lean ground meat. (lean sirloin is what we used)
1 onion
1-2 bell peppers
1/2 jar of roasted red peppers or jalape?os
2 cans of chopped tomatoes
2 cans of red kidney beans
garlic (5-8 cloves as desired)
chili powder (1-3 Tbsp as desired)
dried chili flakes (1-2 Tbsp as desired)
olive oil

Here is how you make Tom's Chili:

1. place olive oil in a large dutch oven type pot. Dice up the onion and peppers. Saut? the onions and peppers in the olive oil. Once translucent, add the meat and chilli powder. Brown the meat2. Add the beans and chopped tomatoes. Stir together with meat and peppers. Add in the jar peppers. With a garlic press, add the garlic cloves. Add in the dried chilli or pepper flakes. 3.
