Very moist grilled burgers

I like to use very lean meat and/or turkey in my tacos, spaghetti sauces and casseroles but burgers are not the same. The key to making moist burgers is to NOT salt the burgers till they are on the grill and do not use bread crumbs or fillers that are bread like. You can also use fillers such as shredded zuccini or carrots. They will add moisture in any burger, even extra lean meats and will also cut fat and spread out the meat. Most people will never notice either and it adds some extra veggies for those who don't like eating them. I've also not added other things like buns and topping due to the fact everyone likes different things and it's easy to add those on the nutrition counter and also more accurate too.

How Do I Make Very moist grilled burgers?

Here is how you make Very moist grilled burgers:

*Do not over mix*Mix all ingredients in medium bowl. Make 4 Patties, preferrably 1/4 in. thick because they will plump when cooked. If you want smaller burgers you can probably make 5 or 6 out of this amount. Charcoal grill - Grill burgers on med high heat for 5 minutes each side give or take a min or so. Charcoal is hard because not everyone will use the same amount or put it in the same place in the grill. Just eye ball it. You really want them to be cooked medium to get the best juiciness. Gas Grill - I'm not sure since we've never used a gas grill. From watching others I think it would be best to heat the grill on high heat, put burgers on grill then immediately cut down between medium heat and high heat and cook for 6 or so min on each side. Do NOT mash down on burgers while cooking. That will release the juices. You can also add different spices according to what you like. Maybe chili powder or grill seasoning or add some cheese or sour cream. Burgers are fun and you can add almost anything in them. Just make sure not to add bread crumbs or oats or anything. If you feel your burger is falling apart, use a burger grilling basket. You can get them for about $15 - $20 at Walmart. Also if you use extra lean beef you can also add some tomato sauce, sour cream, salsa or canned diced tomatoes to add some moisture.
