1/4 cup lime juice
2 cloves garlic, pressed
1 tsp oregano
1/3 tsp allspice
3 Tbsp olive oil, divided
pepper, to taste
12 oz sirloin steak
2 small zucchini, sliced
1 cup poblano peppers, seeded, deribbed and thinly sliced
2 Tbsp chopped onion
1 large clove garlic, pressed
2/3 cup low fat sour cream
1/3 tsp cumin


How Do I Make Marinaded Grilled Sirloin and Veggies?

Here is how you make Marinaded Grilled Sirloin and Veggies:

In a small bowl, combine lime juice, garlic, oregano, allspice, 2 3/4 tsp of the oil and pepper to taste. Place steak and sliced zucchini in shallow dish and pour marinade over top. Cover and refridgerate for at least 2 hours, Preheat outdoor or indoor grill or oven broiler. Meanwhile, prepare sauce; Heat remaining olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat; saute Poblano pepper, onion and garlic for about 10 minutes; remove from heat and add sour cream and cumin, stirring for about 2 minutes until sour cream is heated through. (you can keep the sauce on low heat if needed, but watch it, as you don't want the sour cream to separate or scorch.) Remove beef and zucchini from marinade and grill until browned, about 5-7 minutes per side or to desired level of doneness. Allow beef to rest for about 5 min. before slicing.
