1 Tsp. Prepared Mustard

1 Egg (beaten)

2 Tbsp. Vegetable oil for frying (or Veg. Oil Spray)


How Do I Make Ham Patties?

Here is how you make Ham Patties:

In a mixing bowl combine ham and rice. In small saucepan cook celery, onion and green pepper in olive oil until tender, but not brown. Blend in flour, mustard, pepper; add milk. Cook and stir until very thick and bubbly. Add to ham/rice mixture and mix well. Chill. Form ham mixture into 10 patties. Dip each patty in mixture of beaten egg and 1 tbsp. water; coat with bread crumbs. Cook patties in large skillet or griddle in hot oil until brown - 3-4 minutes per side.
