1 lb whole wheat pasta
1 1/2 T bacon grease
1 jar Hormel bacon bits
4 green onions, chopped
1/4 C sun dried tomato pesto
1/2 C cream
1/2 C sour cream
1/4 C water
1/2 C parmesan cheese, shredded
1 1/2t dried basil

Here is how you make Pasta with Creamy Bacon Sauce:

Boil pasta as directed. Heat bacon grease in pan, add onions. Saute' onion until tender. Add pesto and bacon bits. Remove and reserve 1/2 of bacon mix for serving. Stir cream, sour cream, water, cheese and basil into remaining bacon mixture; stir until heated. Combine pasta and cream mix; toss well.
