1.5 cup Beans, pinto (1 can)

Here is how you make Linda's homemade soup:

Brown and drain ground beef. Drain and rinse kidney and pinto beans. Chop onion and potatoes. Put in large pot with enough water to just cover. Add 1 cup chicken broth. Boil potatoes and onions until tender. Keep potatoes & potato water in pot and add tomatoes, beans and spices. Rinse the tomato can with at least 1/2 can water and add to pot. Stir. Cook 5 min. During the 5 minutes, cook frozen veggies in microwave. Add veggies and ground beef to pot and simmer 10 minutes.Serving Size:?1cup
