Here is how you make Steak Subs:

Slice steak into thin strips. Also cut onion in strips, mushrooms sliced, and pepper into strips. Minced the garlic.In a saute pan heat up oil & butter. Add steak and brown on all sides, add onion, garlic, mushrooms & pepper and cook until done. Add a bit of bbq sauce and mix together. Set on low.Split buns lengthwise and spread with garlic butter. Sprinkle with shredded cheese and place in the oven on broil until butter & cheese are melted. Place steak mixture on bun and add spread with bbq sauce on top.
