The ingredients for Oklahoma Taco are:

2 pounds ground beef, or 1 pound ground beef and 1 pound ground turkey
1 package of your favorite taco seasoning, or salt, pepper, a little oregano, and some chili
powder to taste
8 corn tortillas, preferable white corn, 6 inch size
2 cans cream of mushroom soup, any brand (even store brand works with this recipe)
3 C grated cheese, and you can pick. Half of it should be cheddar, and the rest is up to you

Optional items;

?? Green chilies, either chopped or whole
?? Onions, which should be cooked after the meat, and then mixed with the meat before assembly.


How Do I Make Oklahoma Taco?

Here is how you make Oklahoma Taco:

Brown meat (and onions if you decide to add them), add seasoning, and drain.Coat one side of a tortilla, place coated side down in a 9X13 baking dish, coat the top, repeat to cover the bottom of baking dish. You will have to break one of the tortillas in half to fit the space available. Cover with 1/3 of the meat, top with cheese, and whatever extra ingredients you choose.Repeat, but reverse the layers so that the whole tortilla is over the halved one, and repeat the layering.
