How Do I Make Kelly's Beet Jelly?

Here is how you make Kelly's Beet Jelly:

Cook medium size beets until almost done. Soak in cold water and peel. In a stock pot put 7 cups fresh water and finish cooking beets. Take the beet water that you just used to boil the beets and measure out 6 cups. Boil beet water and add 2 pkg of Sure Jell, small raspberry jello, & 1/2 cup lemon juice. Bring to a boil then add 8 cups sugar. Cook 10 minutes. Easy boil. Put thick mixture into 1/2 pint jars with lids that seal.
