The ingredients for Nectarine Coffee Cake are:

2 cups white flour
2/3 cups sugar
2 tsp. baking powder or 1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
nectarines or peaches or plums (six or whatever it takes to cover top of cake)
3 tbsp. cinnamon sugar
2/3 cup butter or margarine
3 tbsp. butter melted for top of cake
1 tsp. nutmeg

Here is how you make Nectarine Coffee Cake:

Mix dry ingredients together. Cut in 2/3 cup butter or margarine. Beat 2 eggs in 1 cup measure. Add 1 tsp. vanilla, fill to top with milk. Add to dry ingredients and mix well. Pour batter into 9 x 13" greased rectangular baking pan. Cut fruit in wedges and place on top of cake close together. I usually slant them left for 1 row then right, etc. Pour melted butter over fruit. Mix nutmeg and cinnamon sugar together. Sprinkle over fruit. Bake at 400 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.
