2 cups regular oats, (not quick)
1 cup sliced almonds
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup honey
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 cup brown sugar
cinnamon (approx. 1- 2 tsp.)
sprinkle of salt
1 cup flaked coconut, dried
1 cup raisins


How Do I Make Granola?

Here is how you make Granola:

1.) Mix oatmeal and almonds together in a large bowl.2.) Stir melted butter and honey together. Pour butter mixture over granola mixture. Stir well.3.) Sprinkle brown sugar, cinnamon & salt over oatmeal mixture. Mix well.4.) Place mixture on a baking sheet. Spread evenly over pan. 5.) Bake @ 350 degrees until light brown. (approx. 10 minutes -- watch it closely, it will burn fast.)6.) Remove from oven. Add coconut and mix. Return to oven and bake until coconut is light brown. (approx. 3-4 minutes.)7.) Remove from oven. Add raisens and stir well.8.) Cool and stir occasionally so it won't stick.9.) When completely cooled, store in air tight container.
