1 1/2 cups sliced almonds (I actually prefer the slivered)
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup honey
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups dried fruit (optional)

Here is how you make Robin's Granola:

Mix the oats, brown almonds, brown sugar, salt and cinnamon in a large bowl.In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the oil and honey. Whisk in the vanilla.Gently mix the wet mixture with the dry mixture. Spread into a jellyroll pan, and bake 45-60 minutes at 300 degrees, stirring every 15 minutes.Cool granola in pan, and then add dried fruit, if desired.Makes 10 servings.
