This is...the best oatmeal I ever had. My Husband adapted this recipe from the side of a bag of Bob's Red Mill Steel Cut Oats for me this morning. It was SO good, I worried about the calorie content, so I had him tell me how he made it and entered it as he cooked it. The Calories are still a bit scary, but I gotta say it's worth it! :)

Here is how you make Oregon Orchard Oat Brulee:

Oats: Bring Water and oats to a boil. Add salt and cream. Cook 17-18 minutes, stirring. Apple Compote: Melt Butter over low flame in saute pan. When butter is beginning to color, add coriander and let it perfume the butter for a few seconds. Add the Apples (Diced), and give the pan a shake. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar over the Apples and toss again to coat evenly. Add the Blueberries and toss to coat. Add the honey & amaretto. Continue to let the compote simmer until the juices begin to caramelize. Add to the oats and mix in gently. Fill 3-4 bowls. Enjoy!
