Here is how you make oat scones:

Mix dry ingredients in a bowl and set aside.Heat milk to scalding and pour over the oats in a bowl. Let sit about 5 minutes. Mix yogurt, egg and applesauce. Pour over oats and mix well. Add dry ingredients and stir to mix. It should bubble up. Immediately pour into a Pam-sprayed 11 x 7 inch pan. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Let cool; cut into 8 squares.
