1tsp Baking Powder
1tsp Baking Soda
1Tbs Sugar or sugar substitute
1tsp salt

1 medium tastiest moist apple you can find chopped finely shredded
1 large egg
1 C milk
1 T cinnamon

Walnuts are included in the calories
Optional ingredients are sliced banans
strawberries, and/or light pancake syrup

Here is how you make Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Walnut Pancakes:

*In plastic ziplock bag, mix all dry ingredients except for walnuts. Mix well. *I sometimes add flaxseed but that increases the calorie content so did not include it in this recipe*. *In large bowl beat egg then add milk, and your finely or chunky chopped apple....some people like them chunky...especially if it's a really good tasting apple. It really depends on my mood that day as to how I cut my apples. = ) *Heat your non-stick skillet to medium high. Add 1/4 c of mix for these pancakes. These cook up really quickly. And I add some Pam to the pan, but I don't even think you need it! The 5 servings in this allow for 3 pancakes/serving*After cooking, I will add bananas, chopped nuts, strawberries, and sometimes some light pancake syrup.
