Here is how you make Linda's sourdough pancakes:

1) Measure the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar into a large bowl.2) In a medium sized bowl, whisk the egg. Add the sourdough starter, milk, oil, and vanilla. Whisk to mix. 3) Pour the wet ingredients, into the dry ingredients. Whisk to mix. 4) Fry on a medium hot, greased skillet, or on a greased grill. Place a large serving spoonful of batter on the grill, and spread it out to approximately 4 inches. Let it fry until it forms bubbles on the edges, which burst, and the edge starts to brown. Flip quickly but carefully. Fry on the second side until nice and golden brown, and the pancakes are springy to the touch.
