Get a large saucepan and combine all the ingredients except the lemon juice. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 30 minutes or until thickened. I added a little more cinnamon, and nutmeg to taste near the end. A serving I use is 1 tablespoon, so it makes a little more then 3.5 cups, at least it looked like that to me. So there should be about 56 servings. After it is cooked set aside and let cool before you transfer it to a bowl. Do not can.
