1 1/2 sticks butter, diced
2 eggs
1/2 c. cream
1/4 lb. cheddar, shredded

How Do I Make Savory Scones?

Here is how you make Savory Scones:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.Combine flour through salt with butter with paddle attachment on stand mixer or by cutting butter into flour with fingers until pea-sized. Mix eggs and cream, and add to flour mix until just moistened. Toss cheddar and scallions with a bit of flour, then add to dough.Knead dough about 4 times. Roll to 3/4" thick, and cut into desired shape (rounds, roll out one big circle and cut it into triangles, etc). Brush the tops with egg wash (1 egg + 1 tbsp milk). Bake 20-25 minutes.
