Preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit. Grease and flour 9- x 5-inch loaf pan. chop walnuts coarsely; set aside. Beat milk, butter, and sugar in medium bowl with an electric mixer at medium speed until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda; gradually add to butter mixture, stirring until blended. Stir in applesauce, cinnamon, and walnuts until well blended; pour batter into loaf pan.Bake 50 to 55 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack 10 minutes; remove from pan, and cool on wire rack.
