Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Fold in sour cream. Combine flour, baking powder and soda, nutmeg, cinnamon, salt; stir into creamed mixture until just moistened. Fold in cranberries. Fill greased muffin cups 2/3 full.
