60 peanuts, halved
Coloured decorating "quills"
150g red shoestring licorice, cut into 60 pieces

Here is how you make Tea - Party Mice:

In a large bowl, beat together butter, peanut butter and sugars until fluffy. Beat in egg, vanilla extract and baking soda until well blended. Gently mix in flour just until blended. Cover and chill for 1 hour, or until firm.Preheat oven to 350F.Shape dough into 1" balls, tapering each into a narrow oval. Press flat on one (narrow) side, 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Decorate as mice, using peanut halves for ears and quill candies for eyes.With a toothpick, make a hole about 1/2" deep in the tail ends.Bake 9 minutesTransfer to a cooling rack and immediately insert licorice pieces in tail-holes.
