Reconstitute raisins by boiling in brandy, let sit covered for 1 hour, drain excess liquid before adding to recipe. Mix flour, soda, powder together. Set aside.Melt butter. Mix well with sugar. Add in eggs 1 at a time mixing well. Add mashed banana, vanilla, raisins & walnuts. Mix well. Add flour mixture in thirds mixing well after each addition. Pour into greased loaf pan and bake at 325 degrees F for 60-75 minutes.
