Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Butter a 9 x 5 loaf pan.Cream the sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each one.In a small bowl mash the bananas and mix in the milk. In another bowl mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add the banana mixture to the butter mixture stir until combined. Slowly add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, mixing just until the flour disappears. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan, and bake at 325 for 1 hr to 1 hr 10 min until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
