Here is how you make Jodykay's Homemade Banana Pudding:

melt smart balance over medium heat in saucepan. Mix cornstarch with sugar then wisk into melted butter. Slowly add 1/2 C milk and wisk smooth. Wisk in remaining milk, stirring until thickened (about 2-3 minutes). Wisk a little of the milk mixture into 2 egg yolks then add yolk mixture back into milk mixture and gently boil for 2 minutes. Add vanilla. In a mixing bowl beat egg whites until stiff but not dry, slowing incorporating about 1/4 C sugar . Layer vanilla wafers, pudding, bananas, wafers, pudding, bananas.
