I entered a recipe on here before, calling it Easy Pumpkin Bread, but once I realized how many calories it contained I knew I needed to alter it to make it healthier. So here, is the healthier version. I cut out 100 calories by using unsweetend applesauce in stead of oil. I also realized that I had forgotten to include the amount of pumpkin pie mix to use in the other version of this recipe and have made sure to include it this one, since it is after all pumpkin bread.By using pumpkin pie mix, instead of pumpkin puree, you don't need to add any seasonings. But feel free to add spices if you want, especially if you like more spice than pumpkin. Also, I ommitted adding any salt since baking soda adds plenty of salt to this recipe. Unless you love salt, you won't even realize it's missing.To cut back even more calories, leave out the pecans, but make sure you alter the calorie count.
