1/2 C butter
1 1/2 C sugar
2 Eggs
1 2/3 Flour
1 1/2 buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla
2/3 C baking cocoa
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp soda

Grease and Flour a 11 1/2 X 17 1/4 cookie pan with edges. In large bowl, cream butter, and sugar, add eggs and mix well. Combine dry ingredients alternating with buttermilk. Spread into pan and bake for 20 minutes.

Frosting:

6 TB
1/4 C baking cocoa
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 C buttermilk
2 1/4 C powdered sugar
1 C chopped nuts (optional)

In saucepan combine margarine, cocoa vanilla and milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until it comes to a rolling boil. Remove from the heat and add powdered sugar and beat until smooth. Frost cake and garnish with chopped nuts.
