Here is how you make King Arthur Carrot Cake:

Preheat oven to 350. Grease 2 9 inch round pans or 9x13 pan. Mix together oil,sugar,salt,eggs,cinnamon, ginger, cloves until well mixed. Stir flour and baking soda together and add to the liquid. Mix until mixed together. Add carrots and nuts. Pour into pans and bake 35 - 40 minutes. Let cool completely then ice with cream cheese icing. Mix butter and cream cheese until smooth.
