What Are The Ingredients For Mavis' Marvelous Chocolate Cake Recipe?The ingredients for Mavis' Marvelous Chocolate Cake are: 1 box Duncan Hines Devil's Food Cake Mix1 (4 serv. size) box Jello cook & serve chocolate pudding mix 2 cups milk (opt.) handful of semi-sweet chocolate chips to sprinkle on top 1 9" X 13" baking pan non-stick cooking spray How Do I Make Mavis' Marvelous Chocolate Cake?Here is how you make Mavis' Marvelous Chocolate Cake: 1.Preheat oven to 350*F for metal or glass pans or 325*F for dark coated pans. 2. Open cake mix and pour into a large mixing bowl. Break up any large clumps of mix. Set aside. 3. Spray a 9" X 13" pan with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.4. Cook chocolate pudding according to directions, (I use whole milk). Add the pudding to the cake mix and stir just until all the mix is moistened. Pour into the baking pan.5. (Optional: you can sprinkle the top lightly with semi-sweet chocolate chips if you like.) Bake for approx. 25 mins. Cake should be "set" and soft. It should look like it needs another minute to cook - remove and let stand for a few mins. It will continue to set / cook in the hot pan. If you leave it in too long, it will taste the same but be dry.
