8-9 Cups White Flour (judgement call on how sticky batter is)
How Do I Make Anise Cookies?
Here is how you make Anise Cookies:Preheat oven to 350 degreesMix all ingrediants except flour in a large bowl. Add flour a little at a time until the dough can be rolled and cut (dough will probably be too thick to use mixer after 5-6 cup of flour, so be prepared to use your hands)Take some of the dough (about a cup) and roll flat with pin. Be sure not to roll it too thin.Use your favorite cookie cutters to make holiday shapesPlace raw cookies on ungreased cookie sheet.Bake for 8-10 mins or until edges start to turn golden brownThe amount of cookies per batch depends on the size of the cookie cutters and thickness of the dough when rolledAlso, I will be adding the Buttercream Frosting that can be used to decorate the cookiesNumber of Servings: 100Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user ICEWHISPER.
