1 c butter
2 eggs
1/4 c. light corn syrup
1 Tbsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. baking powder


How Do I Make Franc's Sugar Cookies?

Here is how you make Franc's Sugar Cookies:

Combine sgar and butter in a large bowl. Beat at medium speed until blended. Add eggs, syrup and vanilla. Beat until well blended and fluffy. Combine flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Add gradually to creamed mixture at low speed. Mix until well blended. Divide dough into 4 quarters. Wrap each quarter in plastic wrap (sandwich bags work too) and refrigerate at least one hour. Heat oven to 375. Roll dough (1/4 at a time) to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut out cookies with flowered cutter. Transfer to ungreased baking sheet with spatula. Place 1 inch apart. Bake 4-6 minutes depending on the size of the cutouts. DO NOT OVER-BAKE! Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet. Makes about 4-5 dozenNumber of Servings: 60Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user FRANCLYN.
