1 large (3-1/4" dia) (approx 2 p Apples, fresh with skin
1 pear, large (approx 2 per lb) Pears, fresh
2 cup, diced Rhubarb
.33 cup, packed Brown Sugar
.25 cup Granulated Sugar
3 tbsp Butter, unsalted
0.5 cup dry Oatmeal (plain)
.2 cup Flour, white
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
2 tbsp Cinnamon, ground


How Do I Make Summe Crumble?

Here is how you make Summe Crumble:

Chop apple, pear and rhubarb, mix with white sugar and set aside. Mix softened butter, half brown sugar, vanilla, flour, oats and 1tbsp of cinnamon until crumbly. If dry, add in a splash of oil. If fruit looks too watery, add in some starch, mix in remaining brown sugar and cinnamon, pour into an 8x8 baking dish and top with crumble. Bake, covered at 350 for 30 minutes, increase temp to 400 and bake until golden, 15-20 additional minutes. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
