Here is how you make Ginger Crinkles:

Mix oil and sugar thoroughly with electric mixer. Add egg and mix well. Pour in molasses. Sift and add dry ingredients until incorporated. Stir in candied ginger.On a small tray or plate, dump the 1/4 cup raw sugar, With a cookie scoop or teaspoon, roll a teaspoonful of dough into ball, drop into sugar to coat. Make sure they are evenly coated round balls. Place balls evenly apart on a cookie sheet lined with a silpat or parchment paper. Appx. 2 in apart, cookies spread while baking.Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 15 minutes.
