Combine flour, 1/4 t. salt, 1/2 cup sugar. mix together. then cut in 1/2 cup butter. press half of it in a 11 by 7 pan or larger. In sauce pan combine the diced rhubarb, 1 cup of sugar and 1 T. water and 1 t. cinnamon. cook covered slowing till rhubarb is hot and then pour over the oatmeal crust.
