1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.2. Beat 1/2 cup butter, 1/3 cup sugar, and 1/4 t of vanilla together until blended. Mix in 1 cup flour until no longer dry. Press into a 9 x 13 inch baking pan.3. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Remove and allow to cool for a few minutes. Remove the oven to 350 degrees.4.
