How Do I Make Raisin Bar (Sandy Style)?

Here is how you make Raisin Bar (Sandy Style):

Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder then cut in margarine/butter. Beat egg and mix in with fork. Cook filling about 5 minutes in small saucepan. Spread most of the pastry in greased pan 9" x 12" (I can't get it evenly spread out so I use the 9" x 9", the bottom is thicker but it still tastes good, I think. It might take a bit longer to cook though.) Spread filling over pastry base, sprinkle remaining pastry on top. Bake at 350F or until golden brown, about 30 minutes.
