1 1/4 tbs dry cocoa
3 c flour
1 c white wine (or cold water)

How Do I Make Cannoli Shells?

Here is how you make Cannoli Shells:

Cream butter and cocoa together, mix well. Add flour and mix together as for pie crust. Add wine or water, mix into a thick dough. Knead on floured board into a smooth ball. Pinch off walnut sized pieces and roll into ovals about 1/8" thick. Wrap around cannoli forms. Moisten flaps to seal. Fry 3 at a time in hot oil (350 to 370 degrees) until very crisp (3 to 4 minutes). Remove from hot oil, hold form with pliers and slip cannoli off form. Drain on paper towels until completely cool.
