Here is how you make Whole Wheat Shortbread:

Cream butter and brown sugar. Add flour a little at a time, mixing well each time. After all flour is added, mix until it sticks together. You may need to add a couple tablespoons of milk or water to make it stick together.Form dough into a loaf. Divide into fourths. Roll into 1/2 inch thick rectangles. Transfer to greased baking sheet. Don't put them too close together, as they will expand some. Use a fork to perforate into 1x1.5 inch rectangles.Place in preheated 325-degree oven and bake 40 minutes.
